Transfer Parent and Family Program

Parent and other family members play an important role in student success at Cal Poly Pomona. The parent and family orientation is an optional half-day program that provides the necessary tools and information needed to support student success. This program is separate from the student program and is designed specifically for parents and family members.

Students can register you when they sign up for orientation on BroncoDirect. Then, on the day of orientation, guests will check in with your student in the Bronco Student Center (Bldg. 35).

Cost

$50 per person above the age of 10 and you must register in advance.

Dates

As a transfer parent or other family member, your orientation is the same day as your student's one-day orientation program. You will check in with your student at 8 a.m. You will attend the welcome session with your student and spend the rest of the day you will spend with members of our campus community and the other parents and family members. The program will conclude by 5:30pm.
