Interhall Council

Inter-Hall Council (IHC) is a government body which is both run by students and serves students. This organization provides students living in University Housing with leadership opportunities as they plan programs for their fellow residents. There are many ways to get involved in IHC. Some of the leadership opportunities consist of positions inside of IHC including an executive board, representatives from every hall, and commissioners. There is also a Hall Council in each residence hall that plans and facilitates programs and events according the specific interests of the residents in each hall. Programs promote the social, educational, and cultural growth of all residents.

As a resident of University Housing your IHC fee is one of the primary sources of funding that supports the events and programs in the residence halls and throughout the campus community. This fee also gives residents free or discounted admission to events, resources, and recreational equipment available at each hall’s front desk provided by IHC.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the benefits! Talk to the Coordinator, Resident Advisors, and Senators in each hall if you wish to become an active member in IHC by holding a position becoming involved in Program Council.

Contact housing at housing@csupomona.edu if you think you want to become an IHC member and have not yet payed your fee. Talk to the Coordinator, Resident Advisors, and Senators in each hall if you wish to become an active member in IHC by holding a position becoming involved in Program Council.
