Overlooking beautiful, rolling hills, the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch at Cal Poly Pomona boasts one of the area’s most romantic and chic settings. The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is operated and managed by students, serving both lunch and dinner.
Expansion & Upgrades
Thanks to more than $10 million in private donations, The Collins College of Hospitality Management is undergoing a significant building expansion. Construction begins in October 2013 and is projected to be completed by the summer of 2015.
Going green is all the rage nowadays, especially when it comes to food, so last summer, Dr. Ben Dewald, Lecturer Barbara Jean Bruin and Dr. Yoon Jang, a hospitality management Ph.D. student from Iowa State University, set out to poll America and find some answers about green (sustainable) restaurants. Masters student Huiqiong (Sharon) Zhou shares her story about coming to the United States from China to study. Earlier this year, retired Student Services Coordinator and alumna Donna Dannan doubled the Collins Hospitality Societys scholarship endowment with a generous gift of $25,000.
