All day event: Feast of Ridvan (Bahá’í) - 'Ridvan' means paradise and the 12-day festival is the holiest time for the Bahá’ís. The Bahá’ís do not work on the first, ninth and twelfth day of Ridvan.Campus is Open This calendar lists several religious holidays and cultural observances which may require scheduling consideration. Some are work-restricted and others are not work-restricted. This list is not all-encompassing. All day event: Passover (Jewish) - Begins at sundown. Pesach lasts for eight days. This time commemorates the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. It begins with a ritual meal 'Seder' when no leavened bread is consumed with special prayers and symbolic foods.
