This hour long event, held at the University Quad, is an opportunity for all students to share what's on their minds, raise concerns, comment on topics or pose questions. Free pizza, sodas and water will be provided.

Special K: Cal Poly Pomona’s First 75 Years

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM - University Theatre: A special theatre performance and multimedia presentation will celebrate the important events and people in Cal Poly Pomona’s history. “Special K: The First 75 Years” will incorporate slides, music from the decades, and live actors who will bring the past to life. The show will feature professional actors, theatre department alumni and some special guests. It is directed by Associate Professor Julian White and written by Matthew Reidy.The event is open to the public. The performance is on Sunday, April 13 at 4 p.m. in the University Theatre. The show is an hour long with no intermission. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at http://specialkcppfirst75.eventbrite.com. Healthy Minds Healthy Hearts

3:00 AM to 7:00 PM - Ursa Major, BSC: Active Minds and the Access and Disability Alliance have partner with Student Health and Counseling Services to put on an event that focusing on a holistic approach to health and well-being. The event will kick off with a Nutrition workshop where you can learn how what you eat affects your whole body. Following the workshop, at 5pm Active Minds guest speaker Janelle Montano will share her story of recovery from depression through the use of physical activity. Active Minds members and select guests are able to reserve a spot for a private yoga session with Janelle following this event by emailing Rachelle at email@example.com.
