What is the Latest in Global Wireless Communications?

Exchange information on advances in mobile communications and wireless networking technology, management, policy, applications, and security in New York City, New York with leaders and experts from industry, governmental agencies, and universities around the world at the Tenth Annual Wireless Telecommunications Symposium.

WTS 2011 will focus on Global Wireless Communications - A View From The "Big Apple" Planned highlights of WTS 2011 include:

  • An IEEE Communications Society Co-Sponsored Welcoming Lunch with Internet pioneer Dr. Robert E. Kahn, Chairman, CEO, and President of the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI), as guest speaker
  • Addresses and presentations by some of the most respected executives and researchers in the wireless communications industry
  • Panel discussions
  • Tutorials and workshops
  • Presentations of accepted academic and practitioner applied research papers; a poster paper session; a doctoral students session
  • Off-site social events and sight-seeing visits

Peer-reviewed proceedings will be published by the IEEE and will be available on its Xplore online publication system. A CD containing the invited speakers' presentations and accepted applied research papers will be distributed to registrants at the conference. Awards will be given for the most outstanding paper presented and best graduate and undergraduate student papers presented.
