The Wireless Telecommunications Symposium is soliciting tutorial and workshop proposals for WTS 2008, which will be held on April 24-26, 2008 at the Kellogg West Conference Center on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, California. WTS brings together industry professionals and academics from companies, governmental agencies, and universities around the world to exchange information on advances in mobile communications and wireless networking technology, applications, management, and security. The theme for WTS 2008 will be "Global Wireless Communications". For further information about WTS 2008 visit www.csupomona.edu/~wtsi.

Goals and Submission Format
Workshops provide an opportunity to present a topic for discussion to an audience interested in industrial or academic experiences, knowledge, or applications in a given area of wireless telecommunications. Workshop attendees are expected to participate actively in each session. The following information should be included in workshop proposals:

• Title
• Author’s name and affiliation
• Abstract (250 words)
• Estimated length of the workshop
• Requirements (i.e. hardware, software, Internet access, audio-visual equipment, etc.)
• Maximum number of attendees

Tutorials introduce information, solutions, industry experiences, and innovative applications that would be difficult or time consuming for attendees to learn otherwise. Tutorial proposals should include the following information:

• Title
• Authors name and affiliation
• Author’s qualification to present the tutorial
• Abstract (250 words)
• Outline of the topics of the tutorial
• Estimated length of the tutorial
• Special requirements (hardware, software, internet access, etc.)
• Sample (hardcopy or softcopy) of tutorial materials

Review
The WTS 2008 Program Committee will accept the proposals according to their topic, quality, and potential impact. Authors of accepted proposals will be asked to prepare a summary of their workshop or tutorial. The summary will be published in the proceedings, which will be distributed on a CD-ROM at the symposium.

Submissions should be received by January 31, 2008.
The authors of accepted proposals will be notified by March 1, 2008.
