Have you ever wanted your users to fill out a form, and have the contents sent to you as an email message? If so, this is the program for you. Based on the well-respected nms FormMail program, CPP FormMail adds extra security against spammer exploits, as well as the ability to provide data in a format that can be pasted into Excel, and the ability to specify an external style sheet for the "success page".
If you have an existing form using Matt's FormMail or your own installation of nms FormMail, you can just change the form action to http://www.csupomona.edu/cgi-bin/cppformmail.pl and your form will work exactly as it did before. If you are starting with a new form, set the form action to the same thing, and your form will generate an email. For further customization, see the documentation.
If you are already using the old Matt's FormMail on the Cal Poly Pomona Intranet, please change the action of your form to point to this one, and delete the Matt's FormMail script. Earlier versions of Matt's FormMail can easily be exploited by spammers (and have been, right here at Cal Poly Pomona) as relays to send many thousands of spam messages. Believe us, you don't want to get the bounces, and Cal Poly doesn't want to get blacklisted.
