What we do

• Develop and maintain the top-level university web pages.
• Develop and maintain web applications for the university, other departments in I&IT, and other clents, including:
  • Movable Type, which hosts PolyCentric, CPP4me (Future Students site), and The Campaign for Cal Poly Pomona.
  • Identity Management Services, home of My Control Panel
  • Bronco411, including the search and the campus phone book
  • The Public Schedule of Classes, for visitors who don't have access to BroncoDirect
  • The Campus Maps and Weather@CPP
  • Online Student Evaluations
  • BallotBox, used for elections by the Academic Senate and others
  • ZFScontrol, for controlling access to files on the campus file system
• Develop and maintain web sites of university-wide importance, including:
  • Commencement
  • Fall Conference
  • Advising
• Develop web sites for colleges, departments, institutes, and other campus organizations. Our clients include:
  • Office of the President
  • College of Education and Integrative Studies
  • Collins College of Hospitality Management
  • Biological Sciences Department
  • Ombuds Office
• In collaboration with I&IT Applications and other Divisions, maintain the function, navigation, appearance, and general text content of BroncoDirect.
• Manage and optimize the Cal Poly Pomona use of the CSU Google Search Appliance.
• Develop templates, tools, and tutorials for web developers.
• Consult with other members of the campus community about web development issues.
