Established in 1994, the Cal Poly Pomona Endowment Fund is shepherded by the University Educational Trust (UET). At more than $30 million, the endowment is made up of gifts of money and invested capital that generate funds to continually support the university. Private gifts are welcomed and encouraged to enhance the university's learning environment.

After an extensive review of investment firms, the UET Board selected one of the state's oldest and most respectable firms to serve as investment counsel. Established almost 100 years ago, Clifford Associates has acquired significant investment expertise in charitable trust investment management, and is acknowledged to be the oldest registered investment counseling firm in the United States.
