Involvement at TOM
We want to thank you for your interest in seeking opportunities to participate with the Technology and Operations Management Department (TOM). The Technology and Operations Management Department maintains a strong relationship with the surrounding business community in several ways.

The TOM Department a substantial resource for the thousands of businesses in San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. Our students hold positions with companies throughout the country, and the majority of TOM faculty also consult both locally and nationally with business and government agencies. Many of these consulting situations also afford students an opportunity to participate, either as research associates, analysts, or simply observers.

There are also a number of specific programs designed to foster these strategic relationships. These include:
Industry Advisory Board

The Industry Advisory Board is made up of managers, supervisors, and executives of organizations through out California and Asia. Industry specific organizations tailored towards manufacturing, distribution, logistics, process improvement, and total quality management meet on a regular bases with faculty and students.
