Reflection 10
Note: This document has been taken directly from WRQ Tech Note 1688
Summary
You can configure Reflection to use SSH when
you need secure, encrypted communications between a trusted host and your PC
over an insecure network. Beginning with version 10.0, an OpenSSH client is
incorporated into Reflection. This technical note explains how to obtain,
install, and configure the Reflection OpenSSH Client feature available in
Reflection 10.0; and lists resources where you can find additional information
about using SSH.
Overview of Reflection OpenSSH Client
The Reflection OpenSSH Client is a new feature
of the Reflection 10.0 release containing the following functionality:
· The ability to
establish secure connections to both SSH1 and SSH2 protocol servers using
Reflection X, Reflection for UNIX and Digital, Reflection for ReGIS Graphics,
Reflection for HP, and Reflection FTP Client applications.
· Support for standard
OpenSSH features such as port forwarding (including X11), data stream
compression and encryption, authentication using a password, public key or
Kerberos ticket, and logging.
