Weekly Reading Notes – Each week you will prepare and hand in notes on the assigned readings. Each of these note sets will be prepared according to the “Guidelines” handed out in class and available on the course website.

Short and Long Paper - First, you will write a short paper, which will be evaluated, graded and returned. You will then revise and resubmit it for a second grade. The purpose of this assignment is to improve your writing and analytical skills. Second, you will write a longer paper which will be evaluated and graded once. Details will be distributed in class.
