Welcome to Geography 330!

Geography 330 is an introduction to the geography of people-environment interactions. The course explores the Earth, its environment, people's use and abuse of Earth's environment, and where we appear headed (or may wish to head). We pay particular attention to intersections between environmental science, land use, policy, and management.

Required Text: W. M. Marsh and J. Grossa, Jr. Environmental Geography: Science, Land Use, and Earth Systems, 3nd Edition

Required Readings: Listed on "Quarter Schedule” page. The Geography 330 Reader (available through Bronco Copy ‘n Mail) includes the McPhee and Meyer-Arendt pieces. All others are on-line and printable in either Academic Search Elite (AS) or Omni File Full Text Mega (OFFTM), databases which are available through the university library’s website, or through the Global Footprint Network website. NOTE: I recommend printing PDF versions (rather than HTML) when available. The text may be less clear but will include any illustrations.
