Tau Alpha Pi

Mr. Kevin P. Richardson

Hello, this is your former president speaking. My name is Mr. Kevin P. Richardson and I was the Tau Alpha Pi president elect for Fall 1999 to June 2000 (Impeachments never took). I graduated in June 2000 and currently work for Southern California Edison (At least until they process my last expense report!).

I obtained my Edison position after a successful senior project with the Engineering Interdisciplinary Clinic and Southern California Edison: "Diagnosis and Development of Solutions for Y2K problems in a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System.". I know it was a success, because Edison had me stationed at the Mira Loma Regional Control Center from 8pm, December 31st, 1999 to 4:30am, January 1st, 2000, attending to some communication equipment! Currently, I work on a four-man R&D team installing and maintaining SCADA antennas at substations while performing various data analysis.

Every time I think back to Cal Poly, I long for a #1 special at the campus Carl's Jr. I remember back to when I was the I.E.E.E. Circuits and System vice president, a volunteer reader for the D.S.S. office and a Kris Cook harasser. So long...
