We have been working hard this summer so that we can plan a fun year for all of our SWE members! Take a look and see which ones you'd like to attend.
FALL 2008
Nationals
This year Nationals is going to be in Baltimore, Maryland! This conference will take place in November and it gives you a chance to bond, network, and have fun! Bring your resume for an opportunity to perhaps get an interview and get an internship!
Bronco Fusion is a daylong event that welcomes new students to Cal Poly Pomona which includes a welcome mixer, interactive workshops, club and support services fair, college connection activities and open houses. Stop by our SWE table to meet some of the officers and see what SWE is all about! The Club Fair is from 5pm - 6:30pm. We'll see you there!
Opening Reception
This event is aimed at informing everyone about SWE, introducing Company Speakers, and performing our yearly Dress for Success fashion show. This fun and informative night also helps Cal Poly students network and obtain valuable information on how to present themselves to company recruiters.
Halloween Party
Candy, Costumes, FUN!
Come join us at our Halloween Spook-tacular! SWE will be providing food, drinks, and music. Everyone is invited! SWE members get in free! $5 for non-swe members
Starbucks Night
Midterms, Finals, Projects, Homework...
Escape the stress of studying by joining SWE for a free Starbucks drink. All SWE Members will have the chance to relax and mingle with each other before the quarter ends.
