ANNOUNCING SPECIAL SUMMER SESSION 2009 COURSE OFFERINGS

Summer 2009 Courses Now on BroncoDirect Summer 2009 Courses Now on BroncoDirect The current economic crisis in California continues to significantly impact the education system in our state. As many of you know, massive budget cuts to the California State University (CSU) forced Cal Poly Pomona to cancel a significant number of state-funded courses for the 2009 summer quarter.

Want to find out which classes are being offered in the special summer session, but don't have a Bronco login? For an up-to-date listing (generated every three hours during the day), download this Excel file. If you need more searching functions and don't mind yesterday's data, please go to the Public Schedule.

We are pleased to announce that Cal Poly Pomona will offer a Special Summer Session through our College of Extended University beginning July 13. To better assist students in making progress toward their degree, the number and type of courses to be offered are very similar to those previously available. These fully accredited courses meet Cal Poly Pomona degree requirements, and most have been modified to a five-week format. Financial aid, in the form of Stafford Loans, Pell Grants, and Work Study, is still available for qualified students. Course costs are $220 per lecture unit and $280 per lab unit.

These courses are open to all Cal Poly Pomona students as well as students not enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona who meet the course requirements. Course pre-requisites may be found in the University Catalog. Each class must enroll a set number of students. Under-enrolled classes will be cancelled. Take advantage of this Special Summer Session...and work together with your friends and fellow students to reach the required number of students for each class.
