"As a pianist of 20 years, I've experienced an array of pianos, and Steinway & Sons is the only brand that will appreciate in value and quality of tone over time.  The All-Steinway School initiative will be an enriching investment in Cal Poly Pomona's student life."

Kateri Lirio
2010 Music Alumna

Having Steinways in practice rooms and on stages throughout the Music Department will be a transformational achievement at Cal Poly Pomona. This gold standard will foster talent not only among pianists, but vocalists, string players, guitarists, woodwind, brass players and percussionists drawn to the opportunity to perform alongside a Steinway. It will attract elite educators and guest musicians, as well as enrich the culture in our region. All-Steinway School is a benchmark for excellence.

To achieve All-Steinway School status, Cal Poly Pomona is raising $1.5 million to acquire 29 Steinway & Sons pianos, and $1 million to establish an endowment for their care and maintenance. Becoming an All-Steinway School will require the collective investments from our campus, greater community, alumni, university friends and industry.

There are many ways you can support this exciting initiative, and we welcome your generosity. Every gift will have a lasting impact on our music program and the artistic development of our students. Please join us!
