Students will participate in an Advising Seminar led by our EOP Academic Advisors during the program. These advisors will be available throughout the program as well to assist students with navigating campus policy and procedure as well as to learn more about majors, scheduling classes, etc.
Peer Tutors will provide study strategies as well as subject specific assistance. All Summer Bridge students will be expected to participate in tutoring during the program.
A study hall will be maintained every day to ensure that students develop strong study habits and allow the appropriate amount of time to become successful in college. Group study will be encouraged during this period.
Not all students will come to Summer Bridge with personal computers. The University Library Computer Commons will be available to our participants. If students use library computers, students will need to supply their own paper and pay for printing.
Campus Resource Staff
Students will have many opportunities to meet with professional staff from essential departments such as: Financial Aid and Scholarships, Housing, Career Center, Student Health Services, Office of Student Life & Cultural Centers, Disability Resource Center, to name a few.
