Welcome to MPA 500. This is the initial course in the Masters in Public Administration Program at Cal Poly Pomona

On the menu above you will find the class syllabus for fall 2009 that you may download. The syllabus is a Word document.

In addition to the syllabus students are encouraged to use the following resources:

• Shafritz's articles from Defining Public Administration (Marnini and Henry) are available on-line from the university library
  
• Improving your access to your Cal Poly email
  
• The MPA web page and specifically the Student Handbook
  
• Public Administration and Management Associations (e.g. MMASC)
  
• Citation information specifically in public administration and public policy we tend to use APA.
  
• Please note we are in a new room: 1-316 as of October 10th!!
