University wide Elected Committees

University Service Opportunities

Graduation Initiative Steering Committee (GISC) – The Graduation Initiative Steering Committee (GISC) needs one faculty representative.  The Committee meets from 2 – 4pm. On April 22, May 20 and June 3.  Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@csupomona.edu by Monday, April 21, 2014 at noon.

Outstanding Staff Committee – Faculty volunteers are needed to serve on the Outstanding Staff Committee.  The Committee members will review and evaluate all nominations.  There will be one or two times during Spring.  Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@csupomona.edu by Monday, April 21, 2014 at noon.

Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) Advisory Committee – One faculty member is needed to serve on the Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) Advisory Committee.  The term is for three years (2017) beginning in 2014-15.  The Committee typically meets one or two times in the Fall and Winter Quarters and up to six times during the Spring Quarter.  Meetings are on Tuesday afternoons from 3 – 5 p.m. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@csupomona.edu by Monday, April 21, 2014 at noon.

Search Committees

ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR UNIVERSITY RELATIONS-- The Academic Senate Executive Committee is recruiting two faculty representatives to serve on the Search Committee for the Associate Vice President for University Relations.  The Search Committee will hold its first meeting in  mid-April.  It is planned that the recruitment will be opened up no later than April 28.  The committee will work late May through mid-June with an anticipated appointment in July. Interested individuals should submit their name and a brief statement of qualifications to senate@csupomona.edu by Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at noon.
