The Aqua Waters of Belize

VOLUNTEER FOR DUTCH SALVATION ARMY ON SPRING BREAK
Students will travel to Amsterdam during their Spring Break to study social service outreach by volunteering for the Amsterdam Salvation Army. Students will be exposed to the progressive Dutch views on prostitution, drugs, homosexuality, and euthanasia. The PLS 499 course will examine the social outreach in the Netherlands and in the U.S. from a comparative perspective. Orientation class sessions will be held before the trip and debriefing class sessions will be held after the trip.

Earn 4-units of credit in:
PLS 499 "NGOs and Social Service Outreach in Amsterdam" (4-units)

Open to all Majors

Program Cost:
Airfare - $700
Administrative Cost: $200
Lodging - $351 ($39 per night/9 days)
Student Insurance - $22
Overall Program Cost=$1,273.00
