Manufacturing/Area Engineer - Provided engineering services for over 700 employees including preparing engineering drawings and sketches to implement facilities and tooling requirements. Supervised testing of new tools and materials in production and quality departments while working with outside vendors. Developed plant and workplace layouts for production and quality departments. Attended General Motors Institute - In addition to normal engineering curriculum (207 units) the co-op phase involved 16 six-week project assignments in various plant departments.
