We drove through the Columbia River Gorge on the trip from Spokane to Portland. It was very scenic but the photography wasn't very good from the car. This is a picture of Multnomah Falls taken at 65 mph. |

Phil (R) with backpacking friends Mark & Beth. Mark and Beth just got married. They met on the discussion boards of the backpacking website we were using. Mark's trail name is Nomad. Beth's is Meerkat. (Note: my trail name is "Phil". I find it is a lot easier to remember only one name) |
