Phil's 1945 Stove

Below: White gas military stove made in 1945. Contains spare parts in the pump handle (shown disassembled) and attached to the side (not visible). Also includes a wrench for disassembling the stove. Also visible is a lever used to clean the needle valve. Arms and legs fold down for storage. Last time I fired it up it cranked pretty good. My dad got it and a pup-tent in a trade for a push lawnmover back in the 50's.

Fueling --Fill 3/4 full of gasoline--Tighten cap

To Light -- Clean tip by moving cleaner lever down and back up -- pump 20 strokes -- open valve slightly to fill priming cup 3/4 full -- close valve -- light -- when gasoline is almost consumed open valve gradually to obtain a maximum blue flame.

To Pack -- Close valve -- Let burner go out -- Loosen and retighten pump cap.

Spare parts -- I pump barrel (unscrew pump grip) and in holder attached to the frame.

Caution -- Provide good ventilation when operatin in confined space--Do not disassemble except for necessary maintenance
