- Below: I am on the left. Andrew in the middle
and Lance on the right. It was the August of 1999 in Collegiate's
Peaks area of Colorado just west out of Buena Vista heading towards
Cottonwood Pass. Our main hike encompassed Mt.Yale., Brown's
Pass and Hartenstein Lake all of which rest near the continental
divide.
Below: These memorial/headstones were located about 2/3 down
the trail from the lake on the western side of the trail by the
brook that flows from the lake.

- Below: Call me crazy but I was unable to deny
the possibility that maybe just maybe those images above and
behind us just might be the spirits of those on the headstones
or someone else. I did not discover the images till the film
was developed back home. One evening after lamenting over the
trip and pictures and longing to get back out there did I really
see them.
