COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- to review types of evaluation devices
- to prepare evaluation devices for classroom use - to develop                     competency-based assessment measures
- to evaluate teaching effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes
- to evaluate instructional programs (planning, implementation, and                outcomes)
- to utilize portfolios in assessing student achievement of course or program    goals
- to utilize portfolios for competency (outcomes) certification
- to develop rubrics for evaluation of portfolios
