RISE Invitational

The RISE Invitation program targets undergraduate applicants. The primary goal is to improve the competitiveness of these students for more advanced RISE research activities. It is the hope of the RISE Invitational program that the student participants will be motivated to continue on in research and that they apply for participation in the RISE Intensive-Undergraduate program after completing the RISE Invitational. Note: Students applying to the RISE Intensive-Undergraduate program need not have participated in the RISE Invitational.

Students accepted in the program are awarded a stipend as follows:

  • Summer - $10/hr x 40hrs of work x 4 wks = $1600/student maximum
  • Academic Year - $10/h x 10hrs of work x 42 wks= $4200/student maximum

Below you will find a detailed table of dates and activities that comprise the RISE Invitational program.
