I teach courses in electrical engineering in the subject areas of instrumentation, electronics, technical writing, and networks. AsTechnical Director of the Lighting Education Program for the college of engineering, I am responsible for the Photometrics Lab 9-101 and Course development for the Illuminationn Engineering Minor.
Background I was born in Texas but raised in Southern California. I have worked in industry since 1957. My experience has been with the State of California (Cal Trans), aerospace (General Dynamic and McDonald Douglas), Kaiser Steel Corp in Fontana, and finally Cal Poly Pomona. I am owner of Electronic Specialists in Upland, CA. I custom engineer and manufacture electronic systems. I have written articles, and coauthored a couple of books. I also hold several patents.
Interests My interests include gardening, golf, tennis, and electronic tinkering. |
