HOW NOT TO DESSIGN A WEB PAGE

 

This were a cupple of year ago, on hike in Santa Monica Mountains.

Problems:

  1. Capital letters in filename (RW_snapshot.html)
  2. Centered text is not aligned (ragged margins)
  3. Untitled Document (need to change <title> tag)
  4. Misspelled words
  5. Bad grammar
  6. Inconsistent font styles
  7. Inconsistent font sizes
  8. Colors don't coordinate
  9. No background color or image
  10. Wasted space on either side of image
  11. More wasted space on sides of the items in this list
  12. User needs to scroll to see content that could fit on initial screen
  13. Yahoo hotlink doesn't work
  14. No logical connection relating site to Yahoo hotlink
  15. Person not centered in image, top of mountain cut off
  16. Image needs to be cropped to improve composition and load faster
  17. Emphasis on the person who created the page, not on the interests of the people who will look at the page
