SOME INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION

Welcome to SISPA. Membership in this association is free, and open to any information systems researcher who meets the following criteria:

  1. is a member of some information systems professional association(s), such as (but not limited to) the ones listed at: www.brint.com/jobs.htm#Assocns or witloof.sjsu.edu/peo/allorgs/orgs.html
  2. has published in some information systems research publication(s) or outlets, such as (but not limited to) the ones listed at: catt.bus.okstate.edu/isworld/journal2.htm or in conferences such as (but not limited to) the ones listed at: www.brint.com/ISResearch.htm#Assocn
  3. generally agrees with SISPA's position that information systems research should be disseminated on the widest possible basis, with minimal financial or other restrictions on its accessibility
Design Templates. Anyone meeting the above criteria is free to use the web page templates accessible at: www.csupomona.edu/~rdwestfall/ais/ These templates are designed to achieve relatively high search engine rankings for web pages intended to make IS research more accessible to people in business and organizations (corresponding to criterion 3 above). Membership Card. We do not yet have a membership card for SISPA. If someone would like to design one, please convert it to GIF or JPG format and send it to me at rdwestfall@csupomona.edu. If there are no compelling reasons not to use it, I will add it to this page so that members can print it and cut it out. I can also put the name of the author, and/or a hotlink to a web site, on this page if the author requests. Ditto for a replacement for the logo on the upper right corner of the page.
