Design and development of business applications to use information on organizational intranets and the Internet. Event-driven
programming to control external database/spreadsheet objects from web. Design considerations for interactive user interfaces.
Principles governing critical analysis of web-based content and graphical design. 4 lecture/problem solving.

- Course Goals* - Students Will:
- Develop Web pages and sites by hand-coding XHTML-compliant code.
- Upload and test small interactive client-side web applications on server
- Create and customize JavaScript.
- Create forms
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of XML concepts
- Design and critique Web sites based on usability principles.
- Create Web sites with CSS that comply with accessibility standards.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Internet and computer security principles
