Cal Poly Pomona
has responded to the broad educational needs of our students
by expanding academic opportunities on campus. The Student
Administration System will provide a range of electronic
solutions to support the changing nature of our
instructional endeavors.
Student Administration
(SA) will provide:
- On-demand
access to student and financial information
- Support for
non-traditional academic programs and calendar
- Support for
the needs of heterogeneous student populations
- Automated
matriculation processing
- Maintenance
of advisory and graduation requirements
- On-line
student registration for classes
An integrated
database, SA incorporates modules for admissions, financial
aid, student records, academic advising, student financials,
and campus community. It features integrated Electronic Data
Interchange (EDI), the Internet, self-service information,
on-line analytical processing (OLAP), electronic catalogs
and forms, and automated workflow.
