set for June 4, 2004!
About the
Banquet
I
t
will soon be that time of year again, when the students and faculty who make
up Cal Poly Pomona’s
political science community assemble for an evening of fine dining,
appreciation, and recognition. On Friday June 4, Pi Sigma Alpha in conjunction
with the Political Science Club and the Department of political science will
be honoring students and faculty with a special evening at the beautiful
Kellogg West Hotel and Restaurant. Moreover, this special evening will
include a wonderful dinner of Kellogg West’s succulent Lemon Basil Chicken
(vegetarians will be accommodated as well), followed by a scholarship and
awards ceremony, the initiation of new Pi Sigma Alpha members, a keynote
speech by Dr. Ronald M. Peterson, professor of political science here at Cal
Poly Pomona, and much more. As always, family and friends are welcome and
encouraged to attend this special event. So, act fast by reserving your space
TODAY!!! Banquet reservations are available for twenty dollars per person and
can be purchased from the officers of Pi Sigma Alpha and the Political
Science Club, Dr. Korey (building 94-rm 316) or Dr. Gossett (building

For those of you
who were able to make it out to the induction ceremony yesterday, thank you
for coming. We were able to induct six new members. This is a big step--we
only had three members at the start of summer and have since increased
membership to twelve! Visit the Events section for more pictures from the
induction.
