Pi Sigma Alpha engages in a few events each year. Immediately below is a list of upcoming events.

UPCOMING EVENTS

  • Next Meeting – March 9, 2006 – Elections will be held for Executive Board positions that are available starting Spring Quarter.
    • Reminder – Members who will be participating in the June commencement ceremony should order their cords and medallions from the Pi Sigma Alpha website as soon as possible in order to ensure that they arrive in time for graduation.
  • Iota Phi is currently planning several events in conjunction with the Political Science Club.
  • Iota Phi is also planning for the Annual Political Science Banquet to be held in June of 2006, if any members are interested in being on the Banquet Planning Committee, please contact Tahira Singh.

    • Iota Phi is co-sponsoring the CSU SSRIC Student Research Conference, which will be held on the Cal Poly Pomona campus on April 30, 2004 in the Student Union. For more info about the Conference go to http://www.class.csupomona.edu/pls/src.html
    • Annual Political Science Banquet – June 4, 2004, 6:00PM-9:00PM, at Kellogg West; we will need much participation from members and potential members in preparing for the Banquet.
    • Select New E-Board- Mid to Late May.

Iota Phi Chapter Induction Ceremony. Inducted 6 new members into the chapter, increasing membership from 3 at the beginning of the summer to 12 members as of January 2004. It took place in the balcony area of Building 94, just a few feet from the department office.
