Prevention/Education Programs

University Police offers numerous programs to heighten awareness and enhance campus safety. The goal of these programs is to: 1. Eliminate or minimize criminal opportunities and 2. Encourage students/employees to take responsibility for personal and community safety.

Department officers and civilian staff provide workshops, presentations and security surveys upon request. Topics include: Violence against women (sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking), emergency preparedness, workplace violence, sexual harassment, office safety and security, theft prevention, personal safety, bomb threats, dealing with difficult people, hate crimes, self-defense classes, community oriented policing, and law enforcement careers.

Contact our staff to schedule a workshop or presentation for your class, department, club, or organization!

For more information regarding prevention, education and awareness programs and services, please contact Kris Surber, Administrative Services Coordinator, at klsurber@csupomona.edu or (909) 869-4139.
