Annie Eastley
Annie Easley was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1933. She began working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Lewis Research Center and its predecessor agency (NACA) in Cleveland, Ohio in 1955. She received her degree in mathematics and continued her education through courses offered by NASA. Annie Easley developed and implemented computer codes that are used to determine solar, wind, and energy projects for NASA. Her energy assignments included studies to determine the life use of storage batteriesused in electric utility vehicles. Her computer applications are used to identify energy conversion systems that provide improvements over commercially available technologies. |
