Lizzie DickelmanIn the years following the First World War, Lizzie H. Dickelman of Forest Ohio received patents for several agricultural inventions. She received two patents in 1917--Patent Number 1,226,477 for metal building plate and Patent Number 1,219,267 for a grain storage design. In 1920, she was awarded another patent for her design of a ventilated storehouse. In 1926 she also invented and patented a heated brooder where incubated chicks could be nested without the hens.
