4. What is “Yellow Face” acting? What are some of the

political implications of non-Asian actors playing Asians?

5. In what ways do movies directed by contemporary directors

like Ang Lee, John Woo, Jonathan Lin etc. ,counter the stereotypes

in older movies? In what ways do some of the old stereotypes still

exist in contemporary films?
