The purpose of the Landscape Irrigation Science Club is to promote awareness of professions in urban irrigation and water conservation. The club invites speakers from the irrigation industry, public agencies, and related industries to discuss with students the issues and challenges of working in water conservation and irrigation fields. The club sponsors social lunches for students in the department, and raises funds for students to attend regional and national irrigation industry events.
