Graduate Research Opportunities in Optics at UNC Charlotte

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has an interdisciplinary PhD program in optical science and engineering, which is administered by the department of physics and optical science. We have a variety of ongoing research topics spanning the range from fundamental optical science to optical fabrication and metrology. An overview of the optics faculty and their specific research interests will be presented, along with a discussion of some of the unique optics facilities at UNC Charlotte. Information will be presented regarding the application process and financial support.
