Note: The observance of Lincoln's Birthday, and Admissions Day is deferred until the end of the year so that the campus can be closed the last week of December.
Please refer to the annual Memorandum of Holiday Observances (PDF) for details regarding the dates/number of days during the campus closure in the last week of December that are not holiday observances and for which employees will be required to designate vacation, CTO, or personal holiday to cover.
All employees are entitled to these paid holidays on the day they are observed at Cal Poly Pomona, unless they are in non-pay status on the holiday or they are required to work in order to perform necessary services.
The holidays listed above are in addition to the Personal Holiday which every employee receives each January 1, and which does not carry forward if not used by December 31 of each year.
