This informal one hour lunch and learn session is designed to answer questions about furloughs. Topics to be discussed include:

  • What is a furlough?
  • Can I use my leave credits on furlough days?
  • I work an alternate schedule with Fridays off, so does the furlough apply to me?
  • What is the impact to me if I'm part-time
  • What if I am exempt?
  • How does this impact my CalPERS service credit?
  • What if I'm docked?
  • How do I use the Paycheck Calculator to determine net pay?
