Identity theft is the top consumer fraud complaint in America.  Law enforcement experts' project up to one million people will become victims of identity theft this year.  What can you do to prevent becoming a victim?
The power is in education.  By being aware of how criminals obtain confidential and financial information you can protect yourself from falling victim.  Attend this informative workshop on Identity Theft conducted by Joy Tafarella, vice president of Cal Poly Federal Credit Union.  Joy will share:

    • Protecting yourself on the internet
    • What types of fraud occur
    • Warning signs of identity theft - Are you a victim?
    • What to do if your identity is stolen
