Pre-requisite: Must be a PC User--Access does not run on a Mac. Experience working in the Microsoft Windows environment. Completion of Beginning Access course or equivalent knowledge/experience.

Course Description/Curriculum:

  • Importing tables, queries, forms, reports
  • Linking tables
  • Using the Lookup Wizard with a value list or table
  • Creating a parameter query
  • Set up grouping with queries
  • Using Form Wizard to design a form
    • Viewing, resizing and moving sections
    • Resizing objects
    • Moving a single object or group
    • Aligning items
    • Deleting items
    • Adding labels
    • Formatting Text
    • Using Size to fit
    • Drawing lines and rectangles
  • Adding colors and borders
  • Sending an object to the back
  • Adding special effects
  • Using the Label Wizard
  • Using the Report Wizard with and without grouping
  • Grouping sections
  • Creating a calculating text box
