Our Mission is to recruit, educate and graduate successful and
culturally aware Black engineers and scientists. We shall also strive to
encourage, stimulate and develop the interests of minority students in
the community in the pursuit of an engineering and/or science related
degree. Further, it shall be our duty to represent students on issues
and developments that effect the careers of Blacks and other minorities.
Moreover, we shall endeavor to develop the technical and professional
skills of our members in order to better prepared for Industry and
graduate studies. Finally, it is our great hope to promote within our
members a sense of community, enabling them to have a positive impact on
Industry and the world at large.

engineering and the applied sciences.
To strive to increase the number of students studying engineering
and the applied sciences at the undergraduate level.
To develop the technical and professional skills of its members.
To encourage members to seek advanced degrees in engineering or
related fields and to obtain professional engineering
certifications.
To promote public awareness of engineering and applied sciences and
opportunities to Blacks and other ethnic minorities.
