has included properties in the United States and
Canada. Previously, Wassermann
served as vice president responsible for all corporate development in the Eastern United States for Hilton
Hotels Corporation. During her six years with Hilton,
she completed transactions with a total project value
of $1.7 billion.
Wassermann's extensive experience in the industry began during her academic career in hospitality management at Cal Poly Pomona. Before and after her graduation, she worked for Laventhol& Horwath, a consulting group. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Management in 1986 launched a career in the industry that has included development, acquisition and asset management both here and abroad.
Her affiliation with Cal Poly Pomona has continued after her graduation and includes her recognition as the Collins School Distinguished Alumna in 2001 and her service on the Collins School Board of Advisors.
Wassermann has been a Certified Hotel Administrator since 1994, and she serves on the Lodging Industry Investment Council. She resides in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband, Roger Hill. They have two children.
