A lifelong advocate of education, Peggy Kelly joined the
College of Education & Integrative Studies in September 2008.

and presents on technology standards, enhancing curriculum
with computers and training teachers to use technology.
Her earlier experiences teaching at the elementary level and
training middle school and secondary teachers in mathematics
also expanded her knowledge of the field.
Kelly has received several awards recognizing her efforts in integrating technology and education. Most recently, she received the Outstanding Leadership Award from the International Society for Technology in Education.
She received her doctorate through a joint study at Utah State University and UCLA. She also attended San Diego State University, where she earned a master’s in mathematics education and remedial reading and a bachelor’s in social sciences and mathematics.
