Martin Colombatto (Marty)
Semiconductor Industy Executive
Martin Colombatto is a Semiconductor Industry Executive and former chairman and CEO of
Staccato Communications, a leading supplier of Ultra Wideband (UWB) silicon and software solutions. With 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry, it is no surprise that he’s held management positions with some of the nation’s top organizations. While at Staccato Communications, Colombatto provided his expertise in engineering, strategic marketing, product development and sales.
Prior to working at Staccato, Colombatto was the vice president and general manager of Broadcom’s Networking Business Unit. There he established and managed a business unit that attracted more than $400 million in revenue over a four-year period. Prior to Broadcom, Colombatto worked as a regional sales manager for LSI Logic Corporation, where he managed sales organizations in Europe and North America.
In 1982, Colombatto earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering technology from Cal Poly Pomona. As a member of the NDC, he is interested in contributing to renewable energy, resource conservation and other green initiatives.
In addition to being a board member for J. Serra Catholic High School, the San Clemente resident enjoys outdoor activities and sports with his wife,
Stefanie, and his three children.
