The Xerox
Technical Minority Scholarship is open to minority undergraduate
or graduate students pursuing degrees in one of the following
fields: chemistry, engineering, computer engineering, physics
material science, or information management. To apply, you
must have a 3.0 GPA or better and be of African-American,
Asian-Pacific Islander, American Indian, Alaskan Native, or
Hispanic descent. You must also be a U.S. citizen or be a visa-holding Permanent Resident.

The Microsoft General
Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students interested
in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
such as math or physics (with an interest in computer science).
You must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to receive this full-tuition
scholarship. Your application must include a letter of referral,
a one-page essay answering the questions provided on the website,
a resume, and transcripts.

AISES administers
scholarships every year ranging upwards of $500.
The American
Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES) is a national,
nonprofit organization which nurtures building of community by
bridging science and technology with traditional Native values.
Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities
for American Indians and Alaskan Natives to pursue study in
science, engineering, and technology arenas. The trained
professionals then become technologically informed leaders
within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a
catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Native
Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined
members of society.

The Indian Health Service announces FY04 Scholarship Funding Availability (Notice)
The Indian Health Service published a Notice of Availability of Funds for Health Professions,
Preparatory, Pregraduate, and Indian Health Professions Scholarship Programs for Fiscal Year 2004. The application deadline for both new and
continuing appliants is March 1, 2004.
